Resurgex,
an immune boosting dietary supplement drink, has yet to be
launched to the market and needs a logo as well as packaging
To begin the logo development process, we start by sketching
ideas on paper. It may sound rudimentary, but the computer
programs are just tools to implement ideas. A paper and pencil
is the best tool to help get the ideas to come out. There
were three elements to the beverage that set it apart from
the competition. Brainstorm things that come in threes we
sketched out triangles, fans, etc.
From the hand drawings, a few logos actually get on the computer.
Now we start to play with the fonts, letters and composition
of the elements. All of this is done in black and white. It
is not until the logo is in its final stages do we explore
colors. To help the client interpret the logo we organized
them in certain categories.
While the client appreciated all the selections, they leaned
toward the braid concept where three pieces of rope were entwined
together. This logo helps to convey the strength that Resurgex
provides to its consumers.
